CIS Curriculum

Curriculum and Program

Our curriculum is rooted in the principles of California (K-12) and supported by our school’s researched – based curriculum on how children learn through play – based activities, exploration, and on Learning tasks and activities that are designed for learners to reflect and respond to ideas and information. Our program is based on a diverse curriculum that is appropriate for children who are also diverse in order to respond and develop children individually throughout a variety of teaching and learning activities, the production of media and equipment and the use of modern technology, the measurement and evaluation of learning results according to real conditions, and the integration of the sufficiency economy into the curriculum of the school as well. This is a response to the concept of the sufficiency economy philosophy and the introduction of children to learn in society in their own communities, including the community, parents, and participation in the curriculum development, mobilizing local resources to create a learning community. All classes are designed to help spark each child’s joy of learning that’s sure to grow with each academic year. We strive to become a model of excellence in education, where students flourish academically and become visionary who embrace cultural diversity, social responsibility and ethical leadership.
